Prior to this course, I experimented with the limitations of HTML while making this site.
I learned that although HTML continues to be a foundational language in modern site architecture, its purpose has been relegated to handling frameworks as opposed to beautification. That being said, the pursuit of backwards-compatibility means that web browsers are still able to make sense of outdated tags like "bgcolor" and "fontsize".
This assignment calls for every character to be hand-written, and that project was more copy-and-paste than I'd like to admit. I'll make the leap to the 21st century and instead import a CSS file to add the flair for this site.
